On Thursday last week Polymade, this year’s Young Enterprise company, represented the Newport and Monmouthshire Area board at the Welsh final at the Sherman theatre in Cardiff.

Having swept the board at the Area board final last month, winning over half of the awards open to them, they did a fantastic job of presenting their company to the judges and won the Environmental Awareness Award for their recycled milk bottle products. They lost the chance to represent Wales in the UK final to a strong company from Swansea but they, and we, are very proud of what they achieved: a coveted place in the top seven companies in Wales! Well done boys, that is a huge achievement!
