The exciting Monmouth Literary Festival is back! Led by a committee of students from Monmouth’s three secondary schools, their aim is to unite the school community by means of literature and encourage the 3,000 pupils to get reading. Moreover, the festival hopes to broadcast and showcase the talents of the young people of Monmouth with poetry recitals and dramatic Shakespeare performances throughout the week.
The festival this year includes a wide range of talks, speakers and workshops for all the year groups and reporters, scientists and motivational speakers will all be appearing as well as writers for young adults.
