A group of 10 pupils visited Cheltenham Science Festival last Wednesday to listen to lectures about the future of science, explore the discover zone and to attend a lecture by Lord Professor Robert Winston. Jack, Form IV, was selected to try on a Space suit that had previously only been worn by an astronaut working on the International Space Station. Mention must also go to four Form 3 boys who came top in one of the memory challenge exhibits. Joe, Joe, Anan and Tommy had to remember a sequence of lights which increased in complexity and length as the challenge went on. The boys managed to get up to a sequence of 35 lights and landed on top of the leader board (pictured above).
Well done to all involved.
