Students discover the future of science

June 16, 2016

MAT TripMAT Trip2A group of 10 pupils visited Cheltenham Science Festival last Wednesday to listen to lectures about the future of science, explore the discover zone and to attend a lecture by Lord Professor Robert Winston. Jack, Form IV, was selected to try on a Space suit that had previously only been worn by an astronaut working on the International Space Station. Mention must also go to four Form 3 boys who came top in one of the memory challenge exhibits. Joe, Joe, Anan and Tommy had to remember a sequence of lights which increased in complexity and length as the challenge went on. The boys managed to get up to a sequence of 35 lights and landed on top of the leader board (pictured above).

Well done to all involved.
