The Lion is the school’s student-run newspaper, covering current events including news, sport, science and entertainment. A small selected group of pupils write, produce and distribute the paper each week. We encourage contributors to find and write about issues of particular interest to them, and not just to report events but to provide commentary on them as well. In addition to developing their writing, The Lion gives pupils an awareness of current affairs and the wider world, as well as valuable IT and research skills useful for later life.
