Held at the Blake Theatre, on Wednesday 8^th February, Monmouth School held a science workshop for 700 pupils from local primary schools. The purpose of the workshop was to investigate the extraordinary properties of the air we breathe. The children were promised plenty of whizzes and bangs, as Dr. J. Danks and Dr. M. Clarke demonstrated the effects of liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and carbon dioxide – they were not left disappointed!
