Softball continues to thrive at Monmouth School...

HMSG and MS combined softball club.  A game very similar to baseball except that the ball is larger and is pitched underarm. This favours batting so the games are more competitive and faster paced. Open to girls and boys from both schools from Form IV (Year 4) up, they meet each Tuesday evening on the astro-pitches.

This winter, Stan Doney, coach and selector of GB National Softball team, is coming to Monmouth School to train the team and introduce them to fast-pitched softball.

In the summer, the MS and HMSG joint team will travel to London to play five fixtures with other schools in a fast-pitch league. Stan Doney has also invited the team to train with the men's national fast-pitch squad.
