The Literary Society, open to HMSG as well as MS, aims to broaden Sixth Formers’ literary knowledge and cultural understanding, as well as accustom them to the lecture style.
Our opening lecture this year on Monday 3rd October is from Tania Hershman, a science journalist and novelist/short-story writer who will be speaking about the inspiration of science within literature.
Future lectures will cover Milton’s Comus, Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Samuel Johnson and some contemporary Drama.
