In the summer term keen readers from the 1^st and 2^nd Form join the national debate to select the winning book for the Carnegie Prize. The boys read and discuss all the books on the shortlist and then contribute their views and reviews to the website. It’s a busy time reading six or seven books to a deadline but always exciting to feel part of the actual awarding process and to compare with other groups. There are always some good new books and authors too.
