On Monday, Monmouth School won the Junior Open nett competition at the Seve Ballesteros-designed Shire course in London.

The team of George, Owen and Hywel won with a team score of 143, which was one under par for the best 2 scores. Individually, Owen was placed second best nett with an 88 nett 66. This event caps another excellent year for golf at Monmouth School who were also regional finalists in the ISGA match play event, semi-finalists in the West of England Public Schools’ Championships and hosted the Home Internationals in the spring.
