As the new school year gets underway, Monmouth School has appointed its new Head Prefects for 2010-2011.
Ryan is the Head of School and his two Deputies are Davyd and George. Throughout this academic year, they will lead the student body and offer support and guidance to younger pupils.
Ryan is studying history, Latin, maths and further maths at A Level, and hopes to read law at university. A keen sportsman, Ryan plays rugby for both the school and town sides, and is involved in coaching for younger players.
Deputy Heads of School, George and Davyd, both hope to read medicine at university. George is taking A Levels in biology, chemistry and religious studies, and captains the First XV rugby team. Davyd also plays rugby for the First XV and is studying French, biology and chemistry at A Level. As boarders, Davyd and George are fully-immersed in school life and well-respected figures in the boarding community.
Dr Steven Connors, Headmaster of Monmouth School said, “Ryan, Davyd and George are dedicated and enthusiastic pupils and I am sure they will be excellent role models within the School. I look forward to working closely with them in the forthcoming year.”
