On Saturday 19 November, 11 boys travelled to the Welsh Schools Cross-Country Championships at Brecon. The Third and Fourth Form runners were told two things by Mr Dawson before the race; that they had a good chance of medals, and that every place was important. In the event there was only one point between 2nd and 3rd place, 137 v 138. Monmouth School came 2nd in Wales!
