Each year I look forward to playing tennis in the summer term. I love the sport and I have played it to a high standard. Last year we had a match between the boy’s school and the girl’s school which was great fun. I usually play with my friends in my games period but it was great to have the chance to play a real match against someone different. Now I am in Form II, I hope to have the chance to play in an after school club and play against other schools in the school team.

There is a very good standard of playing and coaching tennis in our school, but I would like the sport to expand and become an even bigger part of school life. I think that everyone enjoys tennis as it is a great game once you understand the rules and the scoring.

Tennis is very important to me and I would like everybody here at Monmouth School to look forward to playing tennis in the summer, just like I do.
