Mr. H.F. Tatham Hugh Tatham holds an MA (Hons.) from Oxford University in Theology.  He held the post of Head of RE from September 1999 until July 2006, and will again run the Department in 2009-10.  He previously taught for three years at Prior Park College, Bath.  Previously Housemaster of Severn House, he is also Head of Sixth Form and coaches rugby and cricket.

Mr. J.C. Bevan John Bevan joined the Department in September 2000, having stepped down as Director of Coaching for the Welsh Rugby Union.  He trained at Cardiff College of Education before teaching at Ferndale Boys School, Culcheth High School, English Martyrs School and, most recently, at Arnold School in Blackpool.  An international in both league and union for Wales and the British Isles, John is Director of Rugby Coaching and Housemaster of New House. 

Revd. G. R. Knight Gavin Knight joined Monmouth School in August 2005, having previously served as Parish Priest of St. Andrew’s Church in West London.  He holds Masters Degrees in Applied Theology (Oxford) and Theology (St. Andrews).  He teaches across the age range, including A Level, coaches all sports and is the School Chaplain.

Miss R. L. Wynne  Rhiannon Wynne joined the Department in a part-time capacity in September 2009 from Treorchy Comprehensive School.  A graduate of Cambridge University, Rhiannon has previously taught at Wycliffe College and Lord Wandsworth College, and she will also coach rowing.
