Members of the third form study a very interesting and inspiring DVD called “the day after Peace” during one of the PSHE rotations. It talks about how, against all odds, an individual created an annual global ceasefire/non-violence day on September 21st. This day is still celebrated across the world.

Students, along with their teacher, Madame Davies decided to acknowledge this Peace Day in Monmouth School by gathering at lunchtime on the School lawn on September 21st in order to create a peace sign.  Their reaction was extremely positive and this year, members of Forms I, II and II were involved.
