Monmouth School has appointed a new Head Boy and Deputy Head Boys.

Monmouth School has appointed a new Head of School and Deputy Heads of School for 2009-10. Luke is the Head of School, with Oliver and Robert appointed as Deputy Heads of School.
Luke is studying Maths, Further Maths, History and Physics A levels and is planning to read economics at university. Luke plays the drums at Grade 6 and is band leader for the School’s Senior Symphonic Wind band. A keen sportsman, Luke plays both rugby and tennis for the School’s first teams and also enjoys skiing, sailing and water-skiing.
Oliver is hoping to read Middle Eastern studies at university and is taking Biology, French and English literature at A Level. Oliver enjoys drama and has taken part in a number of school productions. His other hobbies include sport and scuba-diving. Robert is studying Russian, French and History at A Level and hopes to read modern languages at university. Robert is an accomplished rugby player, who plays for the School’s first team, for Bath Youth Rugby Club and for Somerset at county level, where he is captain.
Dr Steven Connors, Headmaster at Monmouth School said, “I am confident that Luke, Oliver and Robert will make excellent Heads of School and set a fine example to their fellow students. All three are dedicated, responsible and hard-working, and contribute much to school life, be it in music, drama or sports.”
