The Drama and Theatre Studies Department is a rapidly expanding department.  It is headed by Mr P.M. Griffin and has two full time members of staff.  Drama is one of the few opportunities students have to work collaboratively and to develop their skills of leadership and negotiation.

Plays directed by staff take place regularly and involve boys and girls of all ages.  There are also performances by touring theatre companies in the school's own theatre and trips to regional performances.  While the Drama Studio provides a professional setting for curricular and extra curricular drama, the new Performing Arts Centre, The Blake Theatre, provides a superb focus for all major productions.
