Cross-Country is a very popular sport at Monmouth, attracting boys from all age groups. Training takes place after school and the boys travel all over Wales and the border counties competing at a very high level. 

Michaelmas Term 2011

27 runners ran in the 1^st Brecon League fixture of the season, up in Builth Wells.  We haven’t yet received the official results, but the juniors definitely won (a mathematical certainty!), with Josh 1^st, Peter 3^rd, Douglas 5^th and Ollie 9^th, out of over 60 runners.  The seniors  also had many winners, with Tom and Will, both 2 years under age, coming 1^st and 3^rd respectively, and Ollie 10^th and James (3 years under age!) 11^th.
