 FORM I and II (YEARS 7 & 8)

 Aims/Objectives

 Science is fun!

All scientists in Form I and II will be encouraged to:

*Work safely.

*Work with precision.

*Relate everyday experiences to new contexts.

*Work creatively.

*Produce detailed planning and thus evaluation of each investigation.

*Use a variety of secondary sources.

*Understand the need for a ‘fair test’ and thus control key variables.

*Use accurate measurement thus identifying errors and anomalous results.

*Produce systematic recording and presentation of data, using correct tables (with units!) and appropriate graphs.

*To make conclusions from data consistent with their findings.

*To provide opportunities to use ICT where appropriate

*To make critical appraisals of investigations, identifying errors and suggesting relevant improvements.
