On the final day of the Lent term the tradition of House Plays at Monmouth School was enthusiastically revived. In a well supported evening all eight middle houses, both boarding and day, produced an edited version of Patrick Marber’s hit West End play, Dealer’s Choice. All houses acquitted themselves admirably to the production of their own section of the play and the adjudicator for the evening, Mr Orton, was greatly impressed by the standard of acting on show. Well done to all involved, with particular mention to Hereford House who won the overall competition with a dramatic performance of the ending of the play.
