I have a strange passion for history, whether cultures long forgotten, or even studies of inhumane dictators. The AS level course gives a chance to go into real detail on our topics (Britain in the early 20^th Century and Russia in the late 17^th Century), and to learn not just what happened, but why. Like English, this subject takes dedication and, at times, a sore pen hand, but as long as you enjoy it, the effort is definitely worth it!
