Duncan Crane Memorial Lecture

On Wednesday the 22nd of September the annual Duncan Crane memorial lecture was given by Major General Tim Cross. The lecture has been given every year for the past 26 years in honour of Duncan Crane, a very gifted former pupil of Monmouth School who sadly died during his time at university. Major General Cross talked on the subject of “The Morality of Fighting Power” and discussed the issue of courage; whether it is merely an instinctive act of bravery or simply being able to stand up for your beliefs under pressure.
