Cricketing excellence for Harry

October 9, 2015

Harry - CricketAs the autumn gathers pace here’s a nice story to remind us of sunnier times; Harry, from Form II, has done extremely well to be selected to attend the English Cricket Board’s centre of excellence at Loughborough. He was part of a national select group of U.12 cricketers who are now part of a squad that will be monitored on a National Level.

‘I’m really excited to have been chosen for this,’  said Harry, who currently plays his county cricket for Herefordshire, ‘When I’m older I’d like to be a professional cricketer so this is a great start.”

Mr Boiling, former England ‘A’ and County cricketer, as well as being a teacher of History at Monmouth School, is also incredibly proud of Harry, ‘ He’s definitely one of the finest young batsmen to come through the school in my time here’.

Well done Harry!
