ROWING COACH (part-time) Monmouth School

This position is available 1 September to provide rowing coaching to pupils from Year 9 to Sixth Form.  Crews compete at local and national events including Henley Royal Regatta and regularly attend training camps, often abroad.

You will need to work flexibly to accommodate the rowing timetable and be available during school holidays to allow the School Rowing Club to compete during the School holidays. Working with the Head of Rowing you will prepare and maintain weekly training programmes for squads including river work, ergos, runs, circuits and weight sessions.

You will be experienced in rowing, ideally to representative level. A qualification in rowing would be advantageous.

This position is 15 hours per week plus 4 weeks during the holidays. Salary: £17.66 per hour.

 

ROWING BOATMAN (part-time) Monmouth School

This position is available 1 September to undertake the day to day running of the boathouse and maintenance and minor repairs of the Rowing Club equipment.

Main duties include the checking of equipment and to maintain the landing stage in a clean, safe and efficient manner. You will need to work flexibly and be available during school holidays to allow the School Rowing Club to compete during the School holidays.

This position is 20 hours per week plus 4 weeks during the holidays. Salary: £8.83 per hour.

Both positions require that the successful applicant must have a clean driving licence and hold the classifications required to drive a minibus towing a trailer.  Training will be provided.

These positions are available as two separate part time positions or one full time position for the right candidate.
