Graduate Sports and Teaching Assistant
Monmouth School seeks to appoint a Graduate Sports and Teaching Assistant for the academic year 2017/18. This post would suit a recent graduate who is interested in a career in teaching or sports coaching. The ability to coach and referee/umpire in two sports from rugby, football and cricket is essential, as is an enthusiasm for working with young people and the ability to act as a positive role model.
Coaching experience is desirable, but not essential.

Teacher of Physics - Monmouth School
Monmouth School seeks to appoint a Teacher of Physics to join a well-established and thriving department from September 2017. This is intended to be a full-time post. The successful candidate will be a graduate of Physics or a closely related subject. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified or experienced teachers. Physics is very popular at A Level producing first rate practical scientists.
A contribution to the wider life of the school, in boarding, pastoral and co-curricular activities is expected. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment. Experienced Second Chef required to work as part of a team to deliver catering at Monmouth School. Ideally you will hold NVQ, 706 2 or equivalent, hold a minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent and the Health & Hygiene Certificate. You will be required to work 37½ hours per week, 5 out of 7 days on a shift pattern. The rate of pay is £17,472 rising to £18,369 per annum following probation.
